Terms & Conditions

This document constitutes a contract with Toby Craze and Craze Dog Training to take part in their training classes / workshops / online consultations.

By signing this agreement, you agree that your participation in the training will be governed by the following terms and conditions:

Training methods and kit: We use positive reinforcement only. We never use aversive training methods. This includes anything that could cause your dog fear, pain or anxiety. We do not allow any aversive training equipment nor work with any clients who wish to use these, including choke chains, prong collars and shock / e-collars.

Consistency of training: Training and behaviour management needs time, consistency, repetition and patience. During the training session(s) with us, you agree that you will not work with any other trainers. If you do work with other trainers, there may be a lack of consistency in applying the training and this may impact negatively on your results, for which we will not be held responsible.

Registration, Fees & Payment: This form must be completed and signed before any training classes / workshops / online consultations start. Payment is to be paid in full at the time of booking, using the online payment facilities or bank transfer in order to secure their booking. All payments, including deposits and block bookings, are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Cancellations: To maintain high levels of service, we are unable to offer a credit or refund within 48 hours of your session. Cancellations in advance of 48 hours will be credited towards a future session, but no refunds will be offered or given. In the case of cancellation on our part, you will be contacted by phone and/or email and the session will be rescheduled. No-shows will not be refunded or credited.

Your responsibilities: You are solely responsible for the actions and behaviours of your dog(s) at all times. By registering with us, you agree to this, and, as such, agree that you assume full legal, moral, and financial responsibility for all actions and behaviours of your dog and agree to assume all risks involved.

Image usage: Photographs and/or video footage may be taken of your dog(s) during training. You give permission for any resulting photographs or video containing images of your dog(s) to be used for advertising, educational material, or promotional purposes.

Additional advice: Opinions given by us on matters outside of core services (for example, but not limited to, diet, nutrition and vaccines) are personal opinions only. For any and all health queries please consult your vet. We are happy to refer you to a vet should you require.

I agree that I am responsible for my own conduct and that of my dog(s). I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Craze Dog Training, its directors, volunteers and representatives from any and all claims of injury (including death), loss, cost, expenses, or damage to persons, dogs, or property caused by my acts or those of my dog(s) during the course of training or related activities, as well as by the conduct of my dog under my own care as a result of following training instructions. This provision applies whether the claims are made by me, members of my family or third parties.

I confirm that I have read, understand and accept the Terms and Conditions outlined above. I understand and acknowledge that dog training/behaviour management may be an activity in which damage or injury to dogs and/or people may occur.

I am aware that taking part in dog training sessions or other related activities is not without risk to me, guests who may attend, or any dog(s) present.

I am aware that regardless of training, handling, or environmental circumstances any dog is capable of biting or otherwise causing harm. I, being fully informed of such risks and hazards, agree to assume all such risks.

I also give permission to allow my case to be shared with other canine professionals such as vets, veterinary behaviourists, other dog trainers and behaviourist and if needs be to have my case referred to a canine practitioner such as a physiotherapist or hydro therapist.

Privacy notice

Craze Dog Training collects all of the personal information provided on this form (and any other provided at a later date) for you to register with our service. This information is securely stored to be used as reference to your individual needs for us to be able to provide the best service possible for you and your dog. The information is used for correspondence with you and may be shared with veterinary professionals and colleague behaviourists in the future with your permission, if required. Any information that you supply is by choice and at your discretion, however some details are essential in order for us to implement the service. We will not sell, share or distribute your personal information to any third parties other than referral to a veterinarian with your consent and unless we have your written permission to do so as required by law.
